What's unique about the brand

Nakamichi pioneered three-head cassette deck technology with separate heads for recording, playback, and erasing, and developed the unique UDAR mechanism that physically flipped cassettes to maintain optimal tape head alignment. The brand's recent Shockwave soundbar series features dual subwoofers and modular surround speaker technology, and they created the first wireless surround sound system with quad 12" subwoofers.
