Description
Phoenix is the second flagship of ESD Acoustic with five ways and ten units in each channel. Among them, five are beryllium diaphragm horn units, and the other five are titanium sandwich composite diaphragm cone units. Unlike other horn-direct radiator hybrid systems, Phoniex applies a unique active crossover system to ensure smooth transitions between the mid-range and the bass. It ensures that the iconic horn units of ESD can perform exceptionally well as always. The sub-bass of Phoenix is produced by 12-inch titanium sandwich cone units. Also driven by field coil the units weigh over 70kg each.
