Product Strengths
- Very clear, crisp sound allows listeners to distinguish individual notes, like keys on a piano
- Seamless metal casing with no joins has an amazing look and finish
- Special filling called branded K2 helps produce a fuller, deeper sound from a small speaker
- Stainless-steel spheres create a continuous imaging between the speakers as sounds move around the room
- A'Diva Ti has remarkable transparency, reproducing the sound of drums and percussion instruments with great tactile qualities, treble air, and sparkle
Product Considerations
- Achieving a smooth blend between the A'Diva Tis and the TR-2 subwoofer can be tricky, requiring adjustments to the sub's volume, crossover setting, and bass-equalization
- Clearances around the gold-plated binding posts are pretty tight but workable
Comparisons (according to reviewers)
- Vs Totem Model 1 Signature speakers, the Model 1 Signature beats the A'Diva Ti in the bass, but A'Divas image better and have a cleaner treble with more detail
Takeaway: The A'Diva speakers are a well-designed and stylish option that can deliver clear and crisp sound. They would be a great addition to a home theater system or dedicated listening room.

Brand highlights
Taking a step back to look at reviewers' thoughts of the brand's entire lineup—not just this product—what stands out most is the following:
- They employ a spherical enclosure design, diverging from the typical box shape to minimize internal standing waves and external baffle diffraction.
- The brand utilizes a cylindrical diaphragm tweeter (CDT) to project high frequencies in a wide, uniform 180-degree arc, creating a larger and more open soundstage compared to conventional dome tweeters.
- Gallo designs speakers with a single, full-range driver to eliminate the need for a crossover network, thereby improving transparency and coherence.
- The brand has developed a proprietary S2 damping technology, using a unique enclosure filling material to mimic a larger cabinet volume and enhance bass response in compact speakers.
Select products
Micro
- Positioning: A compact high-end small speaker designed for versatile home audio.
- Description: Features a 4-inch all-metal spherical enclosure that minimizes internal resonance and diffraction for clear imaging. Compared to the higher-powered models, it offers a unique compact form factor with flexible mounting options while sacrificing the extended frequency range seen in later series.
A'Diva SE
- Positioning: A high-performance compact speaker focused on peak audio delivery for music and movies.
- Description: Uses a proprietary ultra-wide dispersion flat-diaphragm transducer and Optimised Pulse Technology to reduce distortion and extend frequency response. In contrast to the Micro, it provides enhanced power handling and spatial characteristics without needing extra low-end support, and stands apart from design-centric options like the Droplet variants.
Droplet
- Positioning: A design-focused variant that melds decorative aesthetics with quality hi-fi sound.
- Description: Builds on the core technologies of the Micro and A'Diva families while offering a pendant-style form factor suited to open spaces and architectural integration. Compared to the compact Micro and the performance-enhanced A'Diva SE, it delivers balanced acoustics with an emphasis on visual appeal and installation flexibility.
Strada 2
- Positioning: A reference loudspeaker engineered for audiophile audiovisual performance.
- Description: Incorporates an Optimised Pulse Technology system along with a re-engineered cylindrical diaphragm tweeter to achieve textbook dispersion and an expansive soundstage. Compared to the smaller and more design-focused models, it offers superior power handling and clarity for larger rooms.
TR-3D
- Positioning: A powerful subwoofer designed to complement the speaker lineup with precise, adjustable bass.
- Description: Features a 10-inch long-throw driver powered by a 300 Watt Class-D amplifier and patented S2 bass loading technology for smooth low-frequency performance. Unlike the full-range speakers which focus on mid and high frequencies, it allows for fine tuning of bass response to adapt to various room sizes.

Product Strengths
- Can be tweaked to the user's liking with switches to optimize the sound
- AMT tweeter does not have hard edges, providing smoothness and ease of listening with good detail
- The ability to switch between a closed or ported system is a great feature because that results in less bass, but there is a switch on the back to switch from closed to ported to get a really precise upper bass response while maintaining an overall great dynamic
- Has a built-in Lineariser plugin which gives the possibility of a very linear sound without the problem of having a computer connected
- Delivers impressive details and bass
Product Considerations
- The top end can have a bit too much energy—being on the forward side—when used in a large room
- Takes 30 seconds to wake up from sleep, requiring a boost in DAC volume for signal detection
- The DSP in the mk2 creates a delay which makes it much harder to track live instruments
- In extended mode, the monitor will be quieter because the overall volume is lowered
- In ported design, a trade-off will give more bass but lesser transients response
Comparisons (according to reviewers)
- Vs KEF LS50W: The Type takes a different path in regards to sound, offering an interesting alternative, as the KEF LS50W may not be for everyone
Takeaway: The Type is a versatile speaker that provides impressive sound and detail. Its adjustable settings allow users to fine-tune the sound to their preference, making it a potentially worthwhile option for those seeking a customized listening experience.
