The shell of the cartridge is made of extremely precious wood, from an Italian olive tree more than 200 years of age. This wood has been selected taking into account grain, density and resonance. The wood is then covered with violin maker's varnish and carefully carved to produce a special resonance chamber. This system allows for greater harmony between the shell and the cartridge itself.
During record reading all the energy is monitored and transmitted to the cantilever without dispersions or auto-resonances in the listening range. The stylus cantilever, coils and the diamond are treated to extract the maximum information without altering harmonic content and dynamic distribution. Diamond wear is reduced thanks to electromagnetic interactors that cancel most of the surface contact charges that can ruin/damage the record and the cartridge.

Hana S Series MK II cartridges use a new tapered aluminum cantilever with higher rigidity and effective mass reduction at the stylus tip.
