Profile

  • Positioning: Positioned as a mid-range option, offering a balance between performance and affordability.
  • Description: Delivers a broad and deep sonic landscape, making it a great choice for those who want to experience a wide soundstage. Its carefully voiced crossover design ensures precise instrument separation, similar to higher-end models like the Perspective, but at a more accessible price.

Pulsar

  • Positioning: A high-performance compact speaker, ideal for those seeking near full-range sound in a small package.
  • Description: Combines the sophisticated sonic characteristics of a mini-monitor with the punch of a larger speaker, making it perfect for small to medium-sized rooms. It shares the ultra-high-resolution tweeter with the flagship Pearl3, providing clarity and detail that surpasses the Profile and Prism.

Perspective

  • Positioning: A compact floor-standing speaker that offers a large measure of the Pearl3's sound.
  • Description: Features graphene-coated magnesium woofers and Sonatex Hexadyn tweeters, providing a seamless sound experience with deep bass and detailed midrange. It offers a more compact alternative to the Pearl3.

Pearl3

  • Positioning: The flagship model, offering the highest level of performance in the Joseph Audio lineup.
  • Description: Designed for music lovers who want the ultimate listening experience, with a field array of magnets and custom aluminum cone woofers for clean bass reproduction. It surpasses all other models in terms of soundstage and detail, making it suitable for large rooms and those who are willing to invest in the best possible sound.

Magico is one of the leading American hifi brands, celebrated for its speakers' precision, clarity, and transparency. This reputation is built on the founder’s meticulous focus on eliminating vibrations, a design principle that customers claim significantly enhances sound quality. Their speakers incorporate carbon fiber and aluminum, along with custom-made drivers, to deliver a highly transparent listening experience. These speakers are favored by reviewers and audiophiles who prioritize transparency and accuracy above all else.

About the brand

With roots in acoustic consultancy, FinkTeam applies advanced measurement techniques and custom crossover designs, featured prominently in their Borg and KIM speakers, to achieve precise soundstage imaging and low coloration. Their standout models, such as the Borg, feature carefully tuned passive radiators for seamless bass response.

Our interview with the brand

What are two key technological innovations or strong opinions that differ you from other brands?

We are working hard to reduce the negative influence of cabinet vibrations, but without the sledgehammer method. We have our own drive unit development team and our own woodshop to make cabinets, operated by a master carpenter. We are basically an engineering team with a lot of measurement equipment, working for the big industry, making the FinkTeam speaker because we can  and because this is our passion.

What's your approach to customer support?

Customers can contact us or the distributor, so we can find the best way to sort out problems. As a small company, we don’t need complicated formal procedures.

What are your favorite tracks for showcasing the strength of your products?

That’s a difficult one, as some tracks are what we call "limit tracks“ to find the balance of the speakers. But we have a few we like:

Toto, I will remember, Beyoncé, Blackbird, Malia & Blank, Magnetic Lies, Brina Bromberg, elephants on ice skates, John Lee Hooker with Van Morrison, The Waterfront.

What other products pair best with yours?

We like electronic from Soulnote, Japan and tube electronics from CANOR in Slovakia. Internally, we also use SPL Pro equipment and MATRIX for streamers.
