The NS-800A is an uncompromising 2-way speaker that faithfully reproduces the timbre of all musical instruments and creates a spacious sound stage. 2-way bookshelf speaker with 16 cm woofer A newly developed “Harmonious Diaphragm™” made from a combination of materials, including Zylon® and spruce, ensures an authentic sound. When designing the speaker body, we used the same vibration analysis technology that we developed for building musical instruments. The acoustic absorber patented by Yamaha was specially optimized for the NS-800A. Yamaha's patented RS (Resonance Suppression) chamber suppresses unwanted resonances. The elegant piano lacquer gives the loudspeaker class and conveys a feeling of luxurious joie de vivre. Only high-quality parts are used for the crossover circuit, including audio capacitors from Mundorf in Germany. The solid brass speaker connectors not only guarantee a secure connection, but also underline the luxurious touch of the speaker.
