What's unique about the brand

Line Magnetic builds their vacuum tube amplifiers by hand, using custom-matched components and a unique transformer design that produces balanced, low-distortion sound. Their ultra-linear amplifier topology and precise magnetic field control in the circuitry have earned praise in audiophile reviews for delivering exceptionally transparent audio reproduction.

What reviewers are saying

We read all the reviews. Here's what reviewers feel most strongly about:

  • Their amplifiers often feature point-to-point wiring, a more labor-intensive and traditionally hifi construction method, reflecting a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Line Magnetic's SET (Single-Ended Triode) amplifiers deliver a signature free-flowing soundstage, often described as exceptionally natural, emotionally engaging, and vividly 3D.
  • They offer models with adjustable negative feedback, a rare feature in tube amplifiers that allows users to fine-tune the sound to their preference or speaker characteristics, offering greater flexibility in system matching.

Our favorite reviewer quotes:

  • "And holy cow: Elena Tonra's voice is placed larger than life between the speakers, while the percussive accents of the production are pushed into the listening room crisply and with pressure. It's powerful, fast and convinces even in the next room with a confident, thoroughly voluminous performance." (https://www.fidelity-magazine.com/line-magnetic-lm-88ia)
  • "What I noticed first were the hallmarks of a well-designed single-ended triode (SET) amplifier: a bell-like clarity, lots of textural information, and a distinctive three-dimensionality to the sonic images. Compared to most push-pull amps, SET amps tend to imbue images with a buoyancy and a high-contrast vividness that some listeners refer to as psychedelic." (https://www.stereophile.com/content/line-magnetic-lm-845ia-integrated-amplifier)
  • "SET amps often get knocked for making slow, puffy, indecisive bass, but the Line Magnetic plays bass that's forceful, voluptuous without being sloppy, and excitingly tuneful, almost strutting with the right music." (https://www.stereophile.com/content/line-magnetic-lm-845ia-integrated-amplifier)
  • "The LM-845 did all but transport us to the venue, immersing us in a musical expanse of soprano, violin, oboe and clarinet. The sense of distance and spaciousness was recreated with perfection." (https://soundstageaustralia.com/index.php/reviews/439-line-magnetic-lm-845-premium-integrated-amplifier)
  • "Especially on the tracks dominated by the acoustic guitar ("Double Southpaw"), the Line Magnetic creates a closeness to the musicians through its dynamic reproduction, even in fixed-bias mode! The steel strings enter the listening room with a sensitive yet fast attack, while Jorge Roeder's double bass provides woody, clear support with sufficient body." About the brand

Fezz Audio distinguishes itself by being the first to implement toroidal output transformers in single-ended tube amplifiers, a design choice that enhances efficiency and reduces noise. Their Evolution series, developed in collaboration with the KABO & PYDO design studio, has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Red Dot Design Award.

Our interview with the brand

What are two key technological innovations or strong opinions that differ you from other brands?

One of the key technological innovations that differs Fezz from other manufacturers is the usage of patented toroidal output transformers in our tube amplifiers. While most tube amplifier manufacturers rely on traditional EI-core transformers, we design and build our amplifiers around custom toroidal output transformers. This results in lower magnetic leakage, much improved bandwidth, and more precise bass control—qualities that are not easy to achieve with conventional designs.

Secondly, we strongly believe in balancing modern engineering with classic tube sound. Our amplifiers are meticulously tuned to retain the musical warmth and dynamics that tube enthusiasts love, while also delivering the clarity, stability, and efficiency demanded by today's high-end audio systems.

What's your approach to customer support?

We handle customer support through a dedicated network of authorized dealers and distributors, who are the first point of contact for our customers. However, we also encourage direct contact with us if a customer needs additional help or feels their issue requires further attention. Our team is always ready to support end users with technical advice, service coordination, or general questions.

What are your favorite tracks for showcasing the strength of your products?

Great question! Music is the key to everything we do.

Melody Gardot – Worrisome Heart

Stacey Kent & Jim Tomlinson – So Nice

John Lee Hooker – Susie (feat. Johnny Winter)

Katie Melua – Piece by Piece

These tracks aren't just technical tests—they're emotionally engaging, which is exactly what we want our amplifiers to bring out in every listening session.

What other products pair best with yours?

We especially love pairing our amplifiers with Klipsch, and next is the Polish brand Pylon.
