Our take on the brand
HiBy is a hifi audio brand that built its own Android audio stack (Direct Transport Architecture) to bypass Android's standard audio processing for bit-perfect playback from any app. The company also developed its own high-resolution Bluetooth codec (UAT) that transmits up to 192kHz at 1.2Mbps across their DAPs, dongles, and wireless earbuds. What's more, they made the Darwin R2R DAC platform, a software-defined ladder DAC with user-selectable filters and downloadable firmware updates that allow users to tune the sound signature of their portable players.
