Chesky Audio is an American loudspeaker maker founded by designer Lucca Chesky. He started it in his bedroom at 17, in his senior year of high school. Its cabinets are 3D printed as single monocoque structures instead of wooden boxes, built for mass and rigidity to cut resonance, with a tessellated pattern around the tweeter to control diffraction. Every speaker is assembled by hand in the United States. The bookshelf monitor comes in black or in metallic red and brown, and the color editions change only the finish, so all three sound the same.
