Driade is a Dutch loudspeaker maker that designs its own drivers and builds them, along with its cabinets and other parts, by hand in the Netherlands. Every Premium Series model uses a hand-coated, low-resonance silk dome tweeter and a ripped paper-carbon bass-midrange cone with an open phase plug and under-hung magnet. Driade deliberately leaves out standard cabinet damping and bi-wiring. It wires the speakers internally with its own Flow cables and pairs crossover parts to within 0.1 percent. The compact monitor is easy to drive, and a new two-way floorstander is the flagship.
