What's unique about the brand
Duevel is a German maker of omnidirectional loudspeakers, handmade since 1997. The speakers radiate sound in 360 degrees, modeled on the acoustic ideal of a breathing sphere, and are designed for accurate frequency and phase response with high efficiency. The horn models use compression drivers, which the company considers essential to that efficiency. The top model is offered with a beryllium dome in its midrange-tweeter compression driver. One model is pitched as an easy first omnidirectional speaker, and a desk-mounted model is made for listening at a computer.
