What's unique about the brand
Dared is a Hong Kong maker of tube amplifiers, founded in 1995, whose catalog also includes guitar amplifiers and multimedia speaker systems. Dared says it was the first to add USB connection to a value amplification system, around 2004. Two of its integrated models combine tubes with a USB DAC and wireless input. Every amplifier is burned in for many hours and then checked by ear before it ships. The phono stage has cartridge loading on the front panel, so owners can set it for MM and MC cartridges.
