Our interview with the brand
What are two key technological innovations or strong opinions that differ you from other brands?
We take a fundamentally different approach to isolation than many traditional solutions. For decades, spikes were the industry norm, based on the idea of coupling the speaker directly to the floor. But in practice, this creates a rigid path that allows energy to reflect and resonate, leading to a loss of clarity.
Our patented isolation technology changes that. One of the biggest differences is how the energy travels—or more specifically, how we manage it. With some isolation feet, the metal housing itself contacts the floor, allowing vibrations to pass through regardless of what’s inside of the housing. The IsoAcoustics design is different: only the lower isolator makes contact with the supporting surface. The internal isolators are carefully tuned for the speaker’s weight, and the upper section connects directly to the speaker or component. This design forms a controlled energy path where internal reflections are minimized and vibrations are decoupled in both directions.
The result isn’t just reduced vibration, it’s greater spatial clarity, openness in the soundstage, and tighter low-end definition. We’ve also proven the performance through testing at the National Research Council (NRC) in Canada and through extensive blind listening tests.
We also believe strongly in the importance of directionality and alignment. Our products are designed to perform best when properly oriented, aligning with the energy of the loudspeaker. That attention to detail is a key part of what sets IsoAcoustics apart.
What's your approach to customer support?
At IsoAcoustics, customer support is a top priority and something we take a great deal of pride in. Whether you're a first-time buyer, a long-time user, or just curious about compatibility, we want the experience to be as smooth and helpful as possible. Customers are welcome to reach out to their local dealer or distributor for support, but they’re also encouraged to contact us directly at [email protected].
We typically respond within 24 hours, and our team is happy to answer questions ranging from product selection and installation to more technical inquiries. If a customer encounters an issue with one of our products, we see it as an opportunity to help, not just to resolve a concern but to gain feedback that could inform future improvements. We go above and beyond by offering hands-on assistance with compatibility questions (even digging into specific speaker or component models and configurations), sending replacement parts quickly when needed, and making sure each customer gets the full benefit of our technology. Our goal is not just to solve problems but to create a great experience.
What are your favorite tracks for showcasing the strength of your products?
“Fields of Gold” – Sting
This track is a beautiful example of musical subtlety. The warmth of Sting’s voice and the gentle acoustic instrumentation can easily become clouded by resonance or vibration. With IsoAcoustics isolation in place, listeners notice a remarkable improvement in vocal clarity and instrument separation, with each element more precisely placed in the soundstage. The acoustic guitar becomes crisper and the background more spacious—making the song feel more intimate and emotionally resonant.
“Birds” – Dominique Fils-Aimé
This stunning vocal track is rich in tone and atmosphere. Dominique’s voice floats effortlessly over minimal instrumentation, making it an excellent piece to highlight the way IsoAcoustics products control internal reflections and remove smear. You’ll hear greater definition in her breath and phrasing, and a deeper sense of space between the layers of sound. It’s the kind of performance that truly shines with enhanced transparency.
“No Moon at All” – Diana Krall
A jazz standard with a sultry, live-in-the-room feel, this track is perfect for showcasing how our isolators elevate microdynamics and timing. With IsoAcoustics in the system, Diana Krall’s piano notes sound more articulate, her vocals are more natural and lifelike, and the subtle swing of the rhythm section becomes tighter and more engaging. The result is a listening experience that feels closer to a front-row seat in an intimate jazz club.
