What's unique about the brand
Benz Micro is a Swiss maker of moving coil phono cartridges, founded by designer Ernst Benz. Its engineers make every cartridge by hand, and the company concentrates on the upper end of the market. The catalog is organized into families, including the ACE, Glider, Wood, Ruby, Gullwing and Ebony lines alongside the MC Gold and MC Silver. The ACE and Wood families each come in SL, SM and SH versions, which gives buyers a choice within a line as well as between lines.
