What's unique about the brand
Revox is a Swiss maker of tape recorders, turntables, amplifiers and loudspeakers, founded in 1948 by Willi Studer. Revox and Studer tape machines worked in major recording studios, and that background sets the goal of reproducing a recording unchanged. Products are built at the company's factory in Villingen in Germany's Black Forest, which also makes analog media such as tape. Revox has redeveloped the B77 reel-to-reel machine as the B77 MK III, and the STUDIO MASTER M500 and M300 systems let owners play music throughout the home.
