Aavik is a Danish maker of amplifiers, streamers, DACs and phono stages. Its chassis mostly use composite materials in place of aluminum to cut mechanical resonance, and the circuits carry several noise-reduction measures, including Active Tesla Coils, Anti-Aerial Resonance Coils and dither circuitry. The Class D designs use UMAC technology, which modulates with a sine wave instead of a triangle wave to lower high-frequency noise. Many components come in 180, 280 and 580 versions, and the I-880 integrated has a solid copper enclosure. The amplifiers are designed to work with Ansuz cables and Børresen loudspeakers.

Our interview with the brand

What are two key technological innovations or strong opinions that differ you from other brands?

This is where I can spend hours explaining. But for now I have to mention our Double Inverted Helix-coil technology and our extensive use of our TeslaCoil technologies. Please check up on this on our website.

What's your approach to customer support?

Naturally, the costumers first point of contact must always be the dealers. Besides this, I response to really many emails from costumers every week. Both prior to buying, during installations and afterwards. We are happy to answer nearly any question - also about older products.

We never leave any costumer with a problem even if they have bought a cable second hand on-line.

What are your favorite tracks for showcasing the strength of your products?

We use hundreds of tracks on shows and when doing product trainings. On the last handful of show I used those tracks: https://open.qobuz.com/playlist/29719163

What other products pair best with yours?

None of the Ansuz products are system depending. We have power encountered a system where the Ansuz products didn’t offer a great upgrade. Naturally, the most logical products to combine with Ansuz must be our own Aavik, Børresen & Axxess where the synergistic affect it at its best.

Audiovector is a Danish loudspeaker maker, founded in 1979 by Ole Klifoth, which builds every speaker in-house. Klifoth's ideas about linear dynamics, linear phase and low compression shaped its first speaker and still guide the designs. Cabinets use teardrop shapes and non-parallel walls to break up standing waves, and the range has Air Motion Transformer tweeters and an optional Freedom Grounding Concept meant to reduce distortion. Owners of R-series speakers can send them back for an upgrade to Signature, Avantgarde or Arreté specification, even across generations. The wide-baffle Trapeze revives the 1979 original.

Lyngdorf Audio is a Danish maker of digital amplifiers, processors and speakers, founded by Peter Lyngdorf. Its amplifiers grew out of Equibit, which turns the PCM data from a digital source straight into the PWM signal of a switching amplifier that drives the speakers directly. The company calls the resulting Millennium the first fully digital amplifier. Its amplifiers and processors include RoomPerfect, room correction that maps the room in 3D while keeping the speaker's own character. The TDAI-3400 adds a streaming player, Voicing filters for shaping the sound and optional modules.

  • The brand's digital amplifiers, underpinned by proprietary Equibit technology, minimize signal conversion for a cleaner, more direct signal path to the speakers.
  • RoomPerfect technology allows Lyngdorf systems to analyze and adapt to the unique acoustic properties of any listening space, optimizing the sound for a more immersive experience.

Our interview with the brand

What are two key technological innovations or strong opinions that differ you from other brands?

Our own amplifier technology sets our TDAI streaming amps apart. It is a so-called digital amplification which amplifies digital audio directly, without the common analogue conversions, signal paths, and side effects within the unit. We also have a unique, absolutely lossless way of volume control, whereas in most amplifiers the incoming music signal is attenuated.

Our second key innovation is RoomPerfect, available in our stereo and home cinema products. This calibration measures and addresses room acoustical issues, which affect even the best listening rooms, yet without linearizing and neutralizing the sound too much.

What's your approach to customer support?

Every Lyngdorf dealer can be contacted no matter where one bought the product, but we are proud to also offer direct support by our team here at the headquarters in Denmark. They have direct access to all Lyngdorf products in our demo and test rooms. Furthermore, a Backup function in our amplifiers and processors allows us to mirror customer settings remotely on our device, so we can literally look into it and give better advice — for example, for setting up or finding faults along the audio chain.

Last but not least, we can offer support and repairs even for the first Lyngdorf products made here decades ago, which includes a 24-hour burn-in test — not only to verify functions but to measure the performance-relevant specs. [email protected]

What are your favorite tracks for showcasing the strength of your products?

Three? You mean three hundred?

Odetta – Hit or Miss. This is an old but excellent recording from 1970. It requires a good system and room to make it sound realistic and alive. Listen for well-separated instruments, good timing, and a tuneful bass. Everything is alright production-wise, so any shortcomings rather come from the listening room and audio system.

Vestbo Trio – Italian Movie, Portuguese Wine. This is a reference for capturing the sound and dynamics of real instruments in a good recording studio. No compression or autotune involved. Listen for the space, soundstage, and realism as the song shifts up one gear. You should almost have the guys playing in your room.

Gidge – Quasar. Electronic music can be quite challenging because there are no microphones as a filter. Someone with a computer and synthesizer can just go crazy, and the audio system has to cope. This Swedish duo will test the limits of your speakers. Listen whether it sounds powerful yet pure and defined at the same time. This kind of music is rather done for clubs, so it requires good speakers, speaker placement, and ideally some degree of calibration to control the energy in a normal living room.

What other products pair best with yours?

One great advantage of our room calibration RoomPerfect is that it doesn't do what many other calibrations do — linearizing and neutralizing the sound, and therefore linearizing the characteristic sound of someone's chosen loudspeaker. What many Lyngdorf owners, dealers, and reviewers like about RoomPerfect is that it preserves what the speaker is good at, so there's real synergy here. No matter whether someone prefers a Dali, Bowers & Wilkins, Dynaudio, Sonus Faber, Spendor, or any other. Our amplifiers also have no problem driving low-impedance speakers, so really not much to worry about regarding system matching. The biggest challenge is the listening room.

What are two key technological innovations or strong opinions that differ you from other brands?

Ceramix and Diamond Membrane Technology

Raidho is renowned for our ultra-lightweight yet incredibly rigid ceramic and diamond-coated drivers. These custom-built diaphragms offer unmatched transient response and detail retrieval — delivering a level of realism and micro-dynamics that is virtually impossible to achieve with conventional materials.

In-House Ribbon Tweeter with Extreme Resolution

Our proprietary ribbon tweeter is another cornerstone of the Raidho sound. With extremely low moving mass and wide bandwidth, it reproduces high frequencies with effortless air, nuance, and spatial depth — all without harshness. We care deeply about emotional connection, not just measurements. Music should move you — not just impress on paper.

What's your approach to customer support?

At Raidho Acoustics, we genuinely value direct contact with our customers. We see it not just as support, but as a way to invite people into the Raidho family. We want every customer to feel personally guided and cared for, and we take the time to offer thorough advice based on each individual’s needs and listening preferences.

That said, we also deeply appreciate and rely on our global network of distributors and dealers. After all, it’s at the dealer locations where you can experience our speakers firsthand — and hearing them in a proper environment is what it’s really all about. So, while you're always welcome to reach out to us directly, we also encourage you to connect with your local dealer for demonstrations and purchases.

If an issue arises, we are here to help — quickly, competently, and with a personal touch. Our support goes far beyond just fixing problems. We often assist with system matching, room setup, or fine-tuning to help you get the absolute best out of your Raidho speakers. Our goal is not just to provide customer service — it’s to make sure your music experience is as exceptional and emotionally engaging as possible, every single day.

What are your favorite tracks for showcasing the strength of your products?

“Keith Don’t Go” – Nils Lofgren (Acoustic Live)

A beautifully recorded acoustic performance that lets you hear the texture of strings, finger movement, and ambient space — pure magic on Raidho speakers.

“No Sanctuary Here” – Chris Jones

Deep, punchy, and rich in tone, this track shows how Raidho handles power and impact while maintaining finesse and subtlety.

“Stimela” – Hugh Masekela (Hope)
